The one that started it all, the unmistakable Lazer Face® is the ULTIMATE statement piece utilizing a 2mm thick, 6C base single lens, that is curved on both the horizontal and vertical axis for optimal clarity.
The lens is structurally supported by a durable polycarbonate sub-frame, which is positioned entirely behind the lens giving the Lazer Face® it's unique ALL-LENS look when worn. This mass impact and shatter resistant lens is secured to the frame using stainless steel hardware, allowing the Lazer Face® to meet ANSI Z.87 requirements, and Z.87+ with optional add-on side shields.
The nose piece features a no-slip rubber-like insert made from extremely resilient and sustainable Hytrel® (TPC-ET thermoplastic elastomer) ensures the glasses stay comfortable in place on the face, while original Heat Wave radius arms wrap them securely around thehead. All parts are replaceable on the Lazer Face®, including the lens, nose piece, frame and arms.
Lens Technology
- The variable tint range of these lenses adjusts from a very clear 75% to a very chill 17% VLT of darkness, all in under 30 seconds. So when you're inside your garage grinding off all the bubblegum welds from a sweet barn find C10, you'll have crystal clear, z87 protection. When it's time to jam outside for the 5th Home Depot run of the day, the lenses will smoothly transition from clear to grey in a matter of seconds.
- While these will NOT get as dark as our standard Black lenses. We picked a transition lens to provide ideal clarity indoors and as dark as possible outdoors to maximize the wearer's utility of this eyewear.
- 1.9mm thick Polycarbonate lens that meets or exceeds mass impact requirements for Z87 standards, injection molded to the highest standards and tested to ensure optimal clarity, along with color and light transmission standards.
